Large amount of money stolen from ATM in Chemainus

Suspects sought after break-and-enter at Co-op gas station

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are seeking assistance from the public to identify two male suspects sought in connection with a Nov. 10 break-and-enter at the Co-op gas station on the Trans Canada Highway in Chemainus.

An ATM was broken into and a large sum of money was stolen.

Surveillance video shows a white Ford truck, with the two suspects next to it. The suspects are believed to be associated to the customized Super Duty pick-up truck, possibly a F250 or F350 model. The licence plate number is unknown.

The two males are believed to be Caucasian, both between 20 and 30 years of age and approximately five-foot-10. They were wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves.
