Chemainus Classical Concerts extends an invitation to a magical afternoon filled with seasonal spirit, featuring Echoes of Joy by the Cowichan Vocal Collective on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at St. Michael’s Church in Chemainus.
Rykie Avenant, artistic co-director of Chemainus Classical Concerts describes an appearance by the Cowichan Vocal Collective “always a highlight of the season". She urges music lovers not to miss what promises to be an unforgettable afternoon of music and celebration.
Since their inception in 2019, the Cowichan Vocal Collective has been harmonizing and raising their voices in song for causes close to their community’s heart. Made up of passionate individuals dedicated to using their music to uplift, inspire and unite, the collective always donates its proceeds to local organizations.
Known for their high calibre of musicianship, tight harmonies, infectious joy and warm stage presence, these singers have performed with groups such as Elektra Women's Choir, Vancouver Chamber Choir and Chor Leoni.
