Due to the cooler weather patterns and significant recent rainfall, the Provincial Government has reduced the drought code for the Cowichan region to Level 1 (normal).
As a result, effective Sept. 30, water conservation measures have been downgraded to Stage 1 for all residents of North Cowichan.
