There’s been a lot of talk about eliminating time changes in the province, but nothing has materialized yet.

That means the switch to Pacific Standard Time is still going ahead this weekend. It officially begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, but it’s a good idea to set clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

Attempts are being made to stay on Pacific Daylight Time year-round, but it’s being coordinated with western U.S. states and still might not happen for another year.
