Riot Brewing Co. in Chemainus is cancelling events at the craft brewery at Chemainus Village Square until further notice.
“Given the current state of the world, we will be stepping back from events for now,” reads a statement from the company.
“Due to some unkind patrons, there has been a lot of extra stress placed on our staff and we feel it would be best if we gave them a break.”
The statement goes on to say events will hopefully be brought back soon, but the intention is to stick to a calmer atmosphere in the interim.
