Michael Lee is visiting Chemainus Friday, Oct. 1 for local events with BC Liberal Party supporters and community members.

After participating in this week’s first BC Liberal Party leadership debate, where Lee presented his vision to rebuild the party, he is travelling to Vancouver Island to keep the conversation going.

Lee will be at Riot Brewing in the Chemainus Village Square from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for a meet-and-greet.

The MLA for Vancouver-Langara is a candidate for the leadership of the BC Liberal Party. He’s focusing his campaign on restoring the trust of British Columbians in the BC Liberal Party through integrity, listening and uniting the party. During his travels, Lee is looking for new ideas and fresh perspectives.

Before his election as an MLA in 2017, Lee was a prominent business lawyer in Vancouver where he worked for 20 years with forestry, mining, energy and technology companies across B.C.

He also has a strong record of community service for more than 30 years, including social service, educational and children and youth organizations.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Lee and wife Christina have three adult children.
