Ancient Times

We’re not talking about the broadcasters, it’s the T-Rex that joined Takeout Tuesday in Chemainus

There’s a lot of history in Chemainus, says CHEK-TV’s Ed Bain, who’s joined by Jeff King, left, upon encountering a T-Rex on Maple Street in Chemainus. (Photo by Don Bodger)

ANCIENT TIMES

Now there’s an interview Ed Bain, left, and Jeff King of CHEK-TV have probably never done. They were in town for their on-air Takeout Tuesday segment on CHEK-TV. Chemainus doesn’t just roll out the red carpet for celebrities, we send dinosaurs. Bain knew this was an older community, but this is ridiculous. A T-Rex just happened to come strolling along to join the festivities. “Everybody needs a smile,” says T-Rex. And Ed and Jeff provided some smiles and wholehearted laughs as well on the broadcast - LIVE FROM CHEMAINUS. (Photo by Don Bodger)
