Five musicians will grace the St. Michael’s Church Sunday, April 7 for the West Coast Chamber Players’ ‘Trios of Europe’ performance.

Bruce Vogt (piano), Jim Stubbs (trumpet), Anne McDougall (violin), Karen Hough (horn) and Lauren Stubbs (bassoon) make up the quintet appearing for the Chemainus Classical Concerts series monthly event.

The West Coast Chamber Players were founded by Lauren and Jim Stubbs, whose distinguished musical careers included principal roles with the Met Opera, the National Ballet of Canada and the Opera Orchestra of New York.

Exquisite chamber music will be performed by world class musicians as they present trios by Brahms, Jolivet and Bruch.

The performance at St. Michael’s, 2858 Mill St., begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 at the door, $10 for Under 18 and $18 in advance at the Owl’s Nest Bakery Bistro and Best Western Plus Chemainus Inn or by calling Eleanor Montour at 250-748-8383.
