Pat’s House of Jazz season is cancelled.

Pat’s House of Jazz at the Osborne Bay Pub is officially shut down until at least the fall.

The popular Sunday afternoon program comes under the jurisdiction of the Chemainus Valley Cultural Arts Society.

“The last two acts on tap were both bands scheduled to be on tour – an impossibility given the health restrictions currently in place,” said spokesman Preston Davies in a statement.

“The restrictions placed on pubs and restaurants also limit the number of people able to attend a show and ultimately my ability to pay bands. Hopefully, conditions will improve over the summer and allow for concerts to resume in September. I look forward to seeing you all again in the fall.”
