Christmas Craft Sale: home baking, preserves, crafts and gifts, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., luncheon served from noon-1 p.m., masks and proof of COVID-19 vaccinations required, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 191 Hall, 9775 Chemainus Rd.

Art show: Art Promotes Wellness with Barry Strasbourg-Thompson and Gail Holland, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., St. Joseph’s Art Studio Gallery, 9735 Elm St., next to the ball park, Chemainus.

Thetis Island’s Around the Island Christmas Tour: There will be three vendors at Lot 100, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., tour maps can be found at Nic’s Cafe by the ferry terminal, Bound to be Different on Willow Street and at the ferry ticket booth.

In-person artist demo: Janet Magdanz of Shades of Green Pottery studio, hand building with clay, noon-3 p.m., Rainforest Arts Gallery, 9781 Willow St., Chemainus.

Informal concert: Coastal Singers, proof of vaccination and face masks required, no cost but cash donations to the food bank appreciated, 6 p.m., Saltair Community Centre auditorium, 3850 South Oyster School Rd., Saltair.
