The Chemainus 55+ Activity Centre is the home of the Cowichan Valley Scottish Country Dancers.
And they’re always looking for more folks to join them.
Anyone older than 55 is invited to come along and have fun, keeping both body and mind fit while dancing with the group.
Starting Nov. 2, the new dance time will be Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. No special dress or shoes are required, but low heeled soft shoes with non-stick soles are preferable.
The group has a great teacher and promises plenty of fun.
“The music is uplifting and, not all bagpipes,” noted spokesperson Lesley Lambert.
