Remembrance Day services brought out a big crowd to the Chemainus Cenotaph.

It was the first time since the start of COVID that the welcome mat has been extended to the public again for the service.

Young and old alike gathered to remember and honour those who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. It was also a time to honour those who continue to serve in deployments around the world.

The ceremony also featured a flypast of aircraft over not only the cenotaph here, but at others around the Island.
