Murphy loves the holidays, any holiday.

In fact, Dee Gallant’s Husky retriever has become known as Chemainus’ unofficial holiday celebration dog.

You saw him on the front cover of the Courier to usher in the new year for 2022 and then he appeared in the paper during March in his St. Patrick’s Day garb.

And here’s Murphy again with Easter upon us. He made a few appearances around town at Waterwheel Park and Kin Beach to get people into the Easter spirit.

No one can resist his smiling face and he brings a smile to everyone he encounters.
