Historical Moment

MacMillian Bloedel Hockey team, the Lumber Kings: Sports has always played a big part of Chemainus’ history, from golf, to the Green Lantern basketball teams, to baseball teams and even hockey. The Chemainus Sawmill was owned and operated by MacMillan & Bloedel from the 1950s to 1999 when it was bought by Weyerhaeuser.
