Chemainus has been home to quite a few familiar buildings, especially some homes.

Now known as the Mattin’s House, this house was originally built for the Clement family.

The museum will reopen March 1, with spring hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A grand opening will be scheduled later.
