The Golden Brush Community Awards will now be known as the Golden Brush Community Awards.

The Chemainus & District Chamber of Commerce’s bid to find a new name for the awards program it is reviving this fall didn’t generate any suggestions that topped the old one.

“It’s what most people voted for so we’re keeping it,” said Christa Swain, Chemainus Visitor Centre ‘s manager.

The awards will take place on Saturday, Nov. 3, with exact categories yet to be announced.
