The Rotary Club of Chemainus’ Rotarian of the Year is actually two people.

The Rotary year-end is June 30 when a member who has given exceptional service to the club is honoured. The Rotarian of the Year is given out “in recognition of outstanding dedication and service to the Rotary Club of Chemainus.”

This was a special year with the award going for the first time to a team of two amazing women, Shannon Bellamy and Dr. Anita Voisin of Cowichan Eye Care.

They guide the club through its two biggest events year every year.
