Chemainus Secondary School students and staff took a stand against bullying on Pink Shirt Day last week.

Besides wearing their pink shirts in a show of support, students participated in a Graffiti Wall Project where they were asked to put a motivational quote to inspire others and embrace diversity.

The first quotes were done by the Grade 11/12 art class with their teacher Rhona Kane. Students showed tremendous creativity in expressing their thoughts.

Those who put quotes on the wall received a motivational bracelet to wear or give to a friend.
