Lecture Series: The Impacts of Global Warming: Future Shock, with climate scientist and author Geoff Strong, 7 p.m., Chemainus United Church.

FRIDAY, OCT. 20

Muffin morning: 9:30-11 a.m., Chemainus 55+ Activity Centre, 9824 Willow St., Chemainus.

Bingo: Every Friday, doors open at 5 p.m. and games begin at 6:30 p.m., Chemainus Legion 191 Hall, 9775 Chemainus Rd.
