The Chemainus Healthcare Auxiliary continues to provide substantial funding for health-related projects around the region.

At its Nov. 16 annual general meeting, the auxiliary – represented by president Donna McCasky and assistant treasurer Betty Guild – presented a cheque to the Cowichan District Hospital Foundation to be used for an automated dispensing machine at Cowichan District Hospital.

Executive Director Naomi Low and Denise McKinlay were on hand to accept the cheque on behalf of the Foundation.
