A new Easter tradition has been born in Crofton.
Of course, Warmland Church event organizers of the Crofton kids’ Easter drive-by bunny hop hope it won’t last long. They’d prefer to go back to normal with large crowds of kids scrambling around the Crofton Ball Field trying to find their fair share of Easter treats.
But, with COVID, the hop will do for now and certainly proved to be a terrific alternative.
Kids were escorted around town in vehicles and pulled into 10 designated hop stops to receive their treats. And the Easter bunny was still around to share smiles and more treats with all the participants.
Warmland is grateful to all the sponsors that made the Easter hop such a special event.
“Our little community has such wonderful families,” read a message from Warmland. “We were so happy to see those beautiful smiles.”
And donations to the Harvest House food bank brought in a tremendous amount of non-perishable items.
